a Z 1310 AM continues to gain new listeners every day… we are penetrating the market says owner and Licensee, Pedro Zamora of 1310 AM WDTW. “Once we launch our FM station we will become a bigger force in metro Detroit – our listenership will continue to grow!”
The Hispanic population shows continued growth over the past decade in metro Detroit, so too will La Z 1310, broadcasting the “Regional Mexican” format. The surge in the Hispanic population will have a lot to do with growth of both La Z 1310AM, along with the launch of the new FM station this fall.
La Z 1310 management team has already experience growth in the Detroit metro. They know that their stations will become an even larger force in the market, just as it has in other large markets like, Chicago, LA, Houston, etc.
Zamora says “we have hired all new personalities to make the sound of the station lively and more contemporary … we are dedicated to serving the community in our hometown…regional Mexican format has a place in Detroit radio scene.”
